Hotel Entrance
In Root Letter, the protagonist steps into the hotel entrance, takes off shoes, and sees a corridor with dark wooden flooring. On the left wall hangs a classical scroll painting, beneath which is a low table with an ikebana arrangement. Paper sliding doors at the end of the corridor hint at the guest rooms. This scene sets the traditional Japanese inn atmosphere for the game's prologue.
