Mountain Shrine Visit
In Root Letter, the protagonist and the heroine visit an old shrine deep in the mountains. In front of the shrine stand a pair of majestic stone lions. A long stone staircase leads to the main hall, and a thick sacred rope hangs from the vermilion torii gate. The heroine closes her eyes and clasps her hands, making a wish related to the past.
