Railway crossing at the start of Episode 1
In *NEW GAME!*, the first episode opens on a railway crossing in the early morning. The barrier is slowly lowering as the sound of an approaching train grows louder. The protagonist Aoba stands at the crossing, waiting and watching the train rush by, marking the start of her first day as a new employee at a game company. There is a road sign beside the crossing indicating the main road, but its exact name is left for you to discover.
