Morning red torii gate
In *March comes in like a lion*, the protagonist Rei Kiriyama passes under a vermilion torii gate on his way to school early in the morning. Behind the gate is a stone staircase flanked by green trees, with fresh air. Rei walks alone with his schoolbag, the scene calm and slightly lonely.
