Reiganjima Tide Observatory
In *March Comes in Like a Lion*, the protagonist Rei Kiriyama often passes by a small red-brick building on the banks of the Sumida River. Standing by the water, it features a tide gauge on its outer wall, surrounded by the calm river and distant bridges. Though unremarkable, it is a familiar sight during Rei's solitary walks or bike rides.
