Old tsukudani shop entrance
In *March comes in like a lion*, the protagonist Rei Kiriyama often visits an old tsukudani (soy-simmered fish) shop with a traditional noren curtain. The shop has a wooden signboard and display case outside, with the aroma of soy sauce emanating from within. The friendly elderly couple runs the shop. Rei frequently stops by to chat or buy a small snack, capturing the warmth of neighborhood life and his integration into the community.
