Hirosaki Castle's Shi-no-maru
In *Flying Witch*, Makoto and Chinatsu are seen standing in front of this ancient castle ruin. The shot features a stone wall made of large boulders, topped with neatly trimmed pine trees, with the castle keep rising behind. In spring, cherry blossoms bloom in front of the stone wall, with petals falling. This is a place where characters often take walks or meet, surrounded by a peaceful rural atmosphere.
