Ōwakudani
In *Onsen Yōsei Hakone-chan*, Hakone-chan and her friends visit a barren hillside filled with the pungent smell of sulfur, where the ground is yellowish-brown and white steam rises everywhere. There are under-repair sightseeing ropeways and wooden walkways, with bare rocks and distant mountains in the background.
