In *Hot Spring Elfin Hakone-chan*, the protagonist Hakone-chan first arrives at the hot spring town and pauses in front of a traditional inn. The building features a wooden structure and a noren curtain at the entrance, with seasonal decorations exuding a strong Japanese atmosphere. Curiously peeking inside, she is then invited in by the innkeeper.
