Yumoto Bridge
In *Hakone-chan*, the heroine Hakone-chan often appears on this red iron bridge spanning a stream. Sometimes she leans on the railing watching the water below, sometimes she greets passersby. One end of the bridge connects to a lively hot spring shopping street, the other leads to a mountain shrine. The bridge is painted a vivid vermilion, standing out against the green trees and blue sky.
