In the 4th episode of *Erased*, protagonist Satoru Fujinuma stands at the south exit of a ground-level station in the early evening. In front of the station is a semicircular plaza filled with bicycles, with the setting sun slanting through the station's glass windows. He looks anxiously at the passing crowd, waiting for a female classmate in uniform. The surroundings include low-rise shops and office buildings, and the streetlights have just turned on.
