Gate of the Hozumi Residence
In *Kami-sama Dolls*, when the protagonist Kyohei returns to his hometown, the first thing he encounters is the gate of his family home. It is a typical Japanese-style wooden gate with low stone pillars on both sides, and a gravel path leading to the main house inside. The gate is not only a symbol of the family but also the backdrop for several events involving the "Kakashi" (scarecrow deities).
