Outside Ikutora Station in snow
In *Railway Man (Poppoya)*, the remote station where the protagonist, Otomatsu Sato, works as a railway man. In winter, snow covers the area, the station building stands quiet, and he sweeps the platform alone, with distant train whistles. This is the place where he devoted his whole life and where he bid farewell to his wife and daughter.
