Kumiko's practice riverside
In *Sound! Euphonium*, Kumiko Oumae goes alone to the riverbank, takes out her euphonium, and starts practicing. The setting sun reflects on the gently flowing river. She plays familiar melodies, pausing occasionally to think about fingerings. Behind her, stone steps lead up to a residential area, and in the distance a bridge spans the river.
