Kumiko's Bench
In *Sound! Euphonium*, members of the Kitauji High School concert band often gather by a bench along the river. In episode 6, at dusk, the protagonist Kumiko Oumae sits alone on a blue bench, gazing at the flowing water, reflecting on the upcoming competition and her relationships. Behind the bench is a wide river embankment and a distant bridge, surrounded by residential areas and riverside paths, with the setting sun casting light on the water.
