In *Sound! Euphonium* Episode 5, Kumiko Oumae is walking home after school and arrives at a road intersection near a stone bridge. She stands at the pedestrian crossing, waiting as the traffic light overhead turns from red to green, then crosses the street. In the background, a wide river and hills on the opposite bank are visible. The signal pole has a push-button box for pedestrians, and a convenience store and residential houses line the intersection.
