In *Sound! Euphonium*, the small open plaza in front of the main building of Kitauji High School features light-colored paving stones and a circular flowerbed or fountain base in the center. Students frequently pass through this area on their way to and from school, and club members often gather here before and after activities. The camera once lingered on the plaza in the evening light as characters exited the school building and crossed the plaza toward the gate.
