In *Sound! Euphonium*, the staircase inside Kitauji High School is a daily thoroughfare for band members between classrooms and the music room. Afternoon sunlight streams through side windows, casting alternating shadows on the steps, where characters often meet, talk, or silently pass each other. In episode 2, this staircase becomes the setting for a key conversation between characters — pay attention to the turning of the steps and the handrail design.
