Kumiko's Bench
In *Sound! Euphonium*, early in the first episode, a girl in uniform sits alone on a roadside bench, gazing into the distance. Cherry blossoms are falling gently. Another girl approaches and cheerfully asks, “Won’t you join the concert band?” The first girl looks up, surprised, and then shows a thoughtful expression. This bench is the location of this key scene.
