Kumiko's Path to School
In *Sound! Euphonium*, at the beginning of the first episode, the protagonist Kumiko Oumae walks up a gentle slope lined with roadside trees. On one side are residential walls, on the other a view of the distant city skyline. She heads towards her new high school with a mix of anticipation and unease.
