Morning on Mt. Daikichi Observatory
In *Sound! Euphonium*, at the beginning of Episode 1, just after dawn, a girl climbs alone to the observatory at the mountaintop. Before her, the city and a winding river gradually brighten in the morning light, with a small island in the middle of the river. She begins to play a euphonium, its melody echoing across the hills, while distant mountains frame the skyline.
