East of Shimizu Bridge – Standoff and Escape
In *Seraph of the End*, Yuichiro Hyakuya and his comrades were attacked by vampires on the east side of a bridge spanning a dry riverbed. The rusty metal railings and the long shadows of collapsed concrete buildings in the sunset set the scene. Yuichiro, wielding his black demon sword, covered his teammates' retreat on the broken asphalt road.
