Akihabara Station Electric Town Exit
In Steins;Gate, the opening scene shows protagonist Rintaro Okabe emerging from a station exit, standing on a bustling staircase, looking up at a huge electronic billboard, then muttering to himself while tweeting and blending into the crowd heading towards the electronics district. This exit staircase and billboard appear repeatedly in the opening animation and main episodes, making it one of the most iconic scenes of the series.
