The railroad crossing where Kaori apologizes in the final episode
In *Your Lie in April*'s final episode, Kousei and Kaori stand on opposite sides of a railroad crossing at dusk. The barrier descends, a train passes, and Kaori tearfully tells Kousei, 'I'm sorry for hiding so much from you.' They silently watch each other across the tracks as the setting sun stretches their shadows, one of the most heartbreaking reunion scenes in the series.
